Plaisance

A worn yet enchanting, early humpbacked French Fadap teddy, Plaisance has been loved to baldness and only has a few tufts of blonde mohair remaining. She's 38 cms (15") tall and stuffed with woodwool.

Her large shoebutton eyes are original, together with her nose stitching, and her mouth is now just a glimmer. She has recovered felt pads, and a few original claws, along with a silent squeaker.
A little threadbare in places, there's also various darned repairs, and some darkening to her cloth backing. All her joints work fine.

She's the sweetest bear, with a lovely protruding muzzle and is wearing her old, and very pretty, cotton print dress with handmade petticoat and vintage lace 'shawl'. Plaisance also brings her French toile sack of Chateau de la Gabelle dried lavender. Her name is Old French meaning 'pleasant'.
PLAISANCE IS 295 GBP, 459 USD, 361 EUR
