Yamka
This beautiful, early American humpbacked teddy has a stunning amount of blonde mohair, and is all original and 40 cms (16") tall. Most likely made by Ideal, she has large shoebutton eyes, and a black-stitched nose and mouth.

Stuffed with woodwol, this has settled a little in one ankle, and in the tops of her arms. Her felt pads are immaculate on her feet, while her paws each have an old patched repair. She has all but one of her claws intact, and her joints are in good working order. One ear looks to have been re-secured, and a seam on her muzzle oversewn.

Yamka has a lovely protruding muzzle and pronounced hump, as well as being big-chested. She's a most adorable, cuddly old bear, and is wearing her gorgeous antique peach and cream voile dress, doble-layered and embellished with delicate lacework. She also carries her little felt handbag. Her name is Native American Hopi, meaning 'blossom'.
