Rosealie
A darling little humpbacked pink mohair Farnell teddy c.1920s/30s, in a very rare small size of only 20 cms (8") tall. Rosealie has original nose and mouth stitching, and her shiny black shoebutton eyes are antique replacements, in keeping with the style of early Farnells.
Stuffed mostly with kapok, her felt pads have been recovered, and her squeaker no longer works. Also, a few of her nose threads are missing, including the long outer top stitches. She has a front closing torso seam, and all her joints work fine, though both legs are a touch squeaky!
Rosealie has kept about 70% of her fur, which has faded over the years, but is still deep pink around her joints. She's in lovely, sturdy condition and is wearing her old handmade pink voile dress trimmed with broderie anglaise, with vintage enamel flower brooch. A really sweet character in all her rosy bloom.
ROSEALIE IS 295 GBP, 455 USD, 354 EUR
