Redmond
A daft, vintage floppy elephant, probably homemade,
with dark red short bristle mohair and shoebutton eyes. Redmond is stuffed with kapok, and his legs are attached with metal buttons, enabling them to swing about. He's 20 cms (8") tall and, apart from a small repair at the back, he's in overall good condition, with minimal fur loss. The stitching you can see around his trunk end, is the way he was made we think. His ears are similary attached with chunky black stitching. An unusual character, Redmond is wearing his old pink ribbon - so maybe he's actually a girl! His colour isn't quite as bright as in our pics, so you won't need sunglasses!
