This chipper early English character has wonderful bright apricot mohair, and is all original with a chuckling tilt growler. He's 46 cms (18") tall and solidly stuffed with woodwool. He has a long shaved muzzle, with a black-stitched nose and manic grin.
Fully-jointed, Gilbert's pads are linen, and both feet are worn into holes though no stuffing can be seen. He has a full set of very long claws, and amber glass eyes. Both ears have been re-secured in the past, and there's a repair to the inside of one leg, close to his joint, otherwise he's in good condition, and has kept about 70% of his fur with overall patchiness.
Gilbert is wearing his vintage school uniform and Vice Prefect badge. He's a charming chap, and his name is Anglo-Saxon meaning 'bright pledge'.
