A wonderful, in your face, big floppy Merrythought Cheeky teddy with registered design footlabel c.1950s/60s, Cazzie is a whopping 61 cms (24") tall, and has an enormous head and loud ringing bells in her ears! She's all original apart from an old replaced mouth stitch, and has amber safety eyes and a black-stitched nose. Her original mouth stitch has been re-secured.
Stuffed with kapok, this has settled in the tops of her arms and legs making them flop about and, due to the size of her head, this also has a tendency to loll back and forth. Both her felt pawpads have more or less worn away, and her footpads have patched repairs and one still has a few holes.
There's wear to velvet muzzle, including a small patched repair, but she's kept virtually all of her gold mohair and is a fabulous character wearing her saucy 1940s cotton sunsuit with vintage donkey brooch. Her name is short for Caroline, meaning 'Litte woman born to command' - ha, ha!
