Bernard
Bernard is a very well-loved, early Bing boy with a badly-worn head and body, and the most heart-wrenching expression, along with the rare all-in-one seamless ear design that only appeared on a few bears between 1908-1910. He's 51 cms (20") tall, and stuffed mostly with woodwool.

Bernard's original boot button eyes have been re-attached and his nose and mouth stitching re-done. His pads are old felt replacements, and he has cardlined feet and a broken tilt growler. He's full of repairs both old and fairly recent, and is still fragile in pleaces, especially his arms where patches have been applied close to his joints, and the backs of his paws, plus tops of his legs.

Additonally, there's a large patch to the top/back of his head, and his muzzle is in a bit of a mess! The back of him is fine, with just a couple of darns to his hump. There's a few small holes showing his stuffing and they've been treated with freycheck to help prevent any further wear.

Bernard has a few tufts of blonde moahir remaining, and is an amazing character, not least survivor. He needs lots of gentle loving and is wearing his old vest which has seen better days, and brings his favourite story book 'The Dirty Old Teddy ' by Enid Blyton.
