About Us
Our passion for collecting old bears began many years ago - more than we care to remember! As sisters, divided by a generation gap of twelve years, it was through our love of worn, vintage bears, that we shared a mutual obsession and became closer in our common quest of rescuing old souls.
As regular visitors to the website will know, my younger sister, Julie, has a full-time career, and her only active role is to collect bears...and...er...
keep them for herself! But she follows the activities of Old Bears Network with interest, and whenever we meet up there's only one topic of conversation and it's teddy talk.

was launched in October 2003, when my hobby of restoring decrepit bears threatened to take over the house, and it became necessary to start rehoming some. I never imagined the website would keep me busy every hour of the waking day, but it does, and it's a wonderfully rewarding occupation. Meeting, and corresponding, with fellow arctophiles around the world is a delight, and introducing new faces to the website, truly exciting. I hope you enjoy this new, second venture, and the wonderful, early characters we bring you.

Bear Fairs
We exhibit twice a year at Dolly Domain's Leeds Pudsey Bear Fair. The next one is 13th October 2007.
