Edwy
A much-loved, humpbacked moon-eyed Chad Valley teddy boy, c.1920s/30s, all original and filled with cork chippings. He's 51 cms (20") tall, and has typical card-lined feet.

Fully-jointed, Edwy has a triangular black-stitched nose and sewn mouth, which has been secured with old stitches.
His brushed cotton pads are in good condition, and he has most of his claws and a non-working tilt growler. His eyes are back-painted glass.

There's a small area of wear to his left arm, and he's kept about 40% of his gold mohair, mostly on his back, torso and ears. A charming old character, Edwy is dressed in his old grandad vest, tweed wool pants and Bruin Knits jerkin with old medal. He also comes wearing his vintage corduroy cap and metal-rimmed glasses complete with case. His name is Old English meaning 'richly beloved'.
