Ella
A very rare, and impossibly cute, faded pink mohair Steiff teddy c.1910 (no button). Ella, also has rare, padless paws and long straight arms - and is 20 cms (8") tall.
Original, except for old replaced felt footpads, this delightful old girl is fully-jointed and filled with woodwool. She has shoebutton eyes, a black-stitched nose and mouth, and a full set of claws.
There's an old stitched repair to the side of her right eye, and also around her muzzle, otherwise she's a strong little bear, and has kept about 70% of her fur which, around her joints, is still very pink.
Ella is wearing her old outfit, and enamel choir badge - and is seen rehearsing a dawn chorus with our resident Steiff cockeral!
