Shyann
This timid early American Ideal girl c.1905, is having an identity crisis: she doesn't know if she's a bear or a rabbit! This is because she's lost both her ears, and someone has given her a pair of bunny lugs to wear. Funnily enough, they seem to suit her - but they're detachable, so can be removed.

Shyann is a well-worn teddy, 33 cms (13") tall, with original shoebutton eyes, and what could be a re-stitched nose and mouth. Her pads are very old replacements, and she has an equally old darned repair to the back of her right shoulder, to the side of her face, below one eye, and top of her torso. There's also a dark stain on the top of her head.

Fully-jointed and filled mostly with kapok, the stuffing has shifted around her neck, so she's a bit saggy, and an ankle is equally limp. Though fairly bald, she still has about 10% of her gold mohair. Shyann's a pathetic, but very endearing girl, and is wearing her cute dress, knitted bonnet and bootees and, of course, her bunny lugs. Her name is from the Native American Cheyenne tribe.
