Kipp
This handsome rogue of a blonde mohair humpbacked Steiff boy is c.1920s with earbutton. He's 41 cms (16") tall, and has original back-painted glass eyes and an old restored, tan-stitched nose and mouth.
Fully-jointed and filled with woodwool, his pads are felt replacements, and he has all but one of his claws remaining, along with about 50% of his fur, with fairly good coverage at the back.
Apart from a small darned repair to the top of his muzzle, and the stuffing having settled slightly around his neck and hump, he's in lovely condition, and a good strong bear with oodles of charm.
Kipp is wearing his antique Steiff sweater and ancient pants, sailor hat and vintage badge. His name is German meaning 'lives on a hill' - he's hoping our compass will help him find one!
