Noel
This little fellow is trying to organise a teddy bear's tea party, and making a bit of a hash of it. He's a rare turquoise blue WW1 Farnell soldier bear, and has returned to England via Sweden, having been given by an English soldier to a Swedish man he met during the war. He was later sold to an antique's shop, where he was purchased by his current owner, who has written Noel's brief history on the back of a Christmas card.
Noel is all original and 9 cms (3.5") tall, with clear glass eyes and a tiny blob of a nose. He's fully-jointed, filled with woodwool, and in stunning condition, having kept virtually all of his mohair, which has retained its amazing bright colour.
Wearing his festive Christmas silver bell charm, Noel also brings his Swedish boxed tea set, containing a teapot, milk jug and cup and saucer.
